Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position

1.Support high-end imported vehicle initiatives as directed by the APA IT Sales Portfolio Manager to deliver required applications to the business.
2.Create an IT plan that aligns applications to vehicle program milestones and provides the appropriate lead time for application changes.
3.Assist the Sales Portfolio Manager in development of specific requirements documentation in conjunction with the business partner.
4.Support the development of evaluation of alternatives for Dealer Management Systems that meet both cost and timing criteria.
5.Coordinate the development of application implementation plans with other IT functional teams to ensure application delivery timing supports business requirements.

6.Responsible as the single point of contact for IT related issues for the high-end imported vehicle team.

Candidate Specification:

Education Qualification
An IT or related degree is preferred. Work experience and training in project management are required

No. of Years of Experience 3+ years' experience in IT related area

Professional Exposure

(Technical Skills) Understanding of business application usage, project management, and broad understanding of various technologies (e.g., mainframe, Web applications, transactional systems, etc.)

Preferred previous experiences
Knowledge of automotive selling process and experience working with dealer management systems/providers would be an advantage

Functional Skills
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.
Strong customer focus with ability to translate business requirements into IT deliverables
Behavioural Skills
Ability to work within a diverse culturally, functional and geographical environment

Special Knowledge/Skills Required Willingness to accommodate flexible working pattern

Strong English communications skills
