Emcore is looking for a motivated and talent optical engineer to join the Emcore Asia in

Beijing. The candidate will work on joint product development with oversea team and

lead NPI to manufacture

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Work closely with oversea team on product development and also responsible

for NPI to manufacture successfully.

2. Optical design and verification for wide product types with solid experience on

DFM experience.

3. As integrator local to drive cross-functional activities and take lead on technical

topics/problem-solving.

4. Select and evaluate optical components used for both new design and sustaining

products.

5. Sustaining support for optical related topics which could not be able to fix by first

line support.

Skills required:

1. Experience on product development. From conception to mass production. Skills

on optical design/simulation, process, test realization etc.. Extend

knowledge/understanding on electrical, firmware/SW and experience on optical

communication industry would add credits.

2. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from start to end, on

time, within budget and expectations

3. Ability to develop solutions to complex problems which require creativity.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

5. Extend knowledge/understanding on electrical, firmware/SW and experience on

optical communication industry would add credits.

Educational background recommended:

Requires minimum bachelor/master degree with engineering background plus

5+ years product development experience.

本科以上学历，工程背景优先

5年以上产品开发经验。
