Job description

l Deal Development: Assist to maintain contacts with middle market intermediaries to generate deal flow; develop opportunities by calling companies, attending trade shows and conferences and building/maintaining Bertelsmann network in specific industries.
l Primary Research: Research proposed industries and develop a position on industry attractiveness for acquisitions. Research specific companies to find attractive acquisition niches and targets.
l Due Diligence Support: Support external experts to perform a variety of due diligence activities related to specific target companies.
l Financial Modeling: Build financial models for acquisition targets or portfolio companies to justify acquisition price and/or quantify opportunity.
l Develop Presentations: Communicate results of analytic efforts to internal professionals and investment partners on a regular basis, either verbally or in a PowerPoint presentation style.

Education:

Bachelor degree or above, MBA and Finance related majors preferred.

Experience:

3+ years working experience in financial sectors like I-banking, PE/VC, etc.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Strong financial analytical skills;

- Business acumen;

- Strong presentation skills;

- Strong oral and written communication skills, both Chinese and English.
