Job Description :

Diagnostics and Genomics (D&G) Field organization drives $0.7B sales to customers in Genomics Research and Clinical Diagnostics markets. Field Finance team is responsible for providing financial reporting, planning and decision support to WW and regional management both in driving revenue growth, designing effective channel strategies, managing Field Selling Cost budget ($0.1B) as well as other key metrics (Accounts Receivables / DSO, Discounts etc). Field Financial Analyst is a key position supporting DGG Asia Pacific Regional controller in ensuring accuracy of financial reporting and efficiency of key financial tools and processes. 

 Successful candidate should demonstrate potentials to work independently in defining and coordinating execution of new strategies/concepts to solve high impact business problems.

Specific Job responsibilities include:

Planning and reporting

• Assist in annual and half year plan including Order, revenue, field selling cost and Headcount

• Consolidate monthly order and revenue forecast by country by product line

• Analyze expense trend, identify potential errors and make necessary correction through manual Journal voucher

• Monthly Order, revenue and FSC (Field Selling Cost) reporting and analysis on deviation

• Monthly financial Metrics preparation by country

• Monthly manual quota credit calculation of China Pathology team and submission to GIPO (Sales Compensation) team

Assist in semi-annual Quota Setting activities

• Partner with Sales managers and GIPO team to finish semi-annual quota setting activities on time with high quality

• Collaborate with GIPO to deliver quota setting process training to business partners

• Provide data history to sales managers as needed (e.g. by country, district, named accounts etc.) in helping their territory rule assignment

• Assist business partners on pay plan, FE code creation, sales rep quota and pay metrics setting

• Validate the accuracy and rationality of sales rep quota

• Business quota and sales rep quota collection and upload to ICM system

Demo inventory management and Pathology fixed assets reconciliation

• Monitor aging of demo instrument and make sure demo is sold within 24 months

• Train sales team on demo process and assist annual wall to wall counting

• Work with FA team to make sure Pathology fixed assets are aligned with CRM database

• Partner with FA team and sales team in annual fixed assets wall to wall counting to avoid or minimize write off

Partner with cross function team in achieving business target

• Review order backlog and work with COpC to push shipment

• Collaborate with Credit & Collection team to avoid or minimize AR write off

• Co-operate with sales operation team to constantly train sales team on the new tools or processes

Any other adhoc requests from business partners or AP field finance controller
