Smith is currently looking for a business development executive to join their Shanghai office. As one of the world’s leading independent electronics distributor, the successful applicants will play a significant role in Smith’s market leading expertise on global electronics sourcing, logistics and distribution.

This business development executive will not only assist with the expansion of Smith’ client base but will be involved as well with the development of the Shanghai trading teams.

    

Key Responsibilities

    

• To greatly increase the business in terms of revenues and profits by engaging with both internal traders and clients of the Shanghai office.
• Map the current and future market trends
• Promote the company and products to customers
• Work with sales teams to achieve and exceed their sales goals
• Develop and strengthen new and existing relationships
• Manage contracts, negotiations and closings
• Develop and strengthen internal traders by assisting with training, guidance and mentoring

                                

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the high tech manufacturing industry
• At least 5 year experience in relevant fields
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Able to inspire others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively
• With a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust
• Fluency in BOTH Mandarin and English is required
