Job Description & Qualifications Major Responsibilities:
· Serve as interpreter for Company executives who present speeches or have discussions at various business events.
· Translate, orally and in writing, business-related documents and correspondence between Chinese and English, including technical materials.
· Be responsible for consolidating minutes for key meetings.
· Organize materials for optimal effectiveness, ensure effective and efficient communications, and maintain a follow-up system.
· Assist GA Director to establish and maintain the relationship with government authorities
· Engage in policy tracking and analyzing, and lobby policy orientation
· Assist other departments to solve government related issues and disputes
· Update the GA database periodically
Experience and background skill desired
At least 3 years service in translation and interpreting field.
Field experience in negotiation and consecutive translation at big conferences. Ability of simultaneous translation would be a plus.
English major with a BA degree or above, plus professional translation training would be preferred.
Willingness to accommodate extensive travels as required.
Professionalism with dedication, responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
