We are looking for Sr SW Quality Engineer work in the AX (ApplicationXtender) Team in OpenText, responsible for overseeing functional and regression testing of ApplicationXtender Product. You will drive the testing strategy of projects across a variety of environments encompassing the latest windows technology. You will participate in test case design, and execution for particularly challenging projects. Sr SW Quality Engineer will mediate software defects and regression exercises with development.

Job Responsibilities

• Writes high level test specs, unit test plans and integration test plans.
• Run regression tests, both automated and manual, against existing features.
• Set up, configure and maintain our test environments.
• Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively.
• Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years working in Quality Assurance or Product Development.
• Experience in the entire software product life cycle: Development, QA and Release management.
• Proven experience with QA automation including Web based UI testing and REST API testing.
• Fundamental understanding of Python.
• Fundamental understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Knowledge in Agile methodology, such as XP and SCRUM
