As a 控制保护系统工程师-HVDC, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Division and Grid Integration (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

Your Tasks as a 控制保护系统工程师-HVDC will include the following:

1. HVDC control and protection project tendering.
2. HVDC control and protection project execution:
a) System hardware design and implementation.
b) Factory system test.
c) On-site installation support.
3. Technical support to the HVDC Customer Service Department:
a) Maintenance outage.
b) Malfunction analysis and clearance.
c) Response to customer technical request.

？ Bachelor’s Degree or above and major in Electrical Engineering or Automation background is required.
？ Experience of HVDC and knowledge is preferred.
？ Great team work ability, motivational and result-oriented worker.
？ The following knowledge and experience will be considered as advantages:
a) RTDS, HYPERSIM and other simulation platforms.
b) FPGA.
c) PSCAD, Matlab.
d) Power system analysis.
e) Automatic control theory.
f) Digital signal processing.
g) Analog circuits and digital circuits.
？ Fluent in oral and written English.
