As a R&D Engineer, you will be part of the Electrification Products Division Building Products Business Unit (BU) based in Beijing. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

As an Automation Lead Engineer, you will be responsible to lead the Mechanical product development of low voltage product.

Your Task as a R&D Engineer will include the following:

？ Responsible for low voltage product development mechanical design or redesign (for example, circuit breaker and its accessories, Surge Protection Device, Smart Auto-Reclosing Breakers, Power Meter, Building Automation, etc.) according to the global market.
？ Contribute significant in technology/product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative mechanical design.
？ Mechanical parts design, simulation, drawings and materials selection.
？ Metal and plastic parts material analysis, selection and test.
？ To define product specification and verification test scheme according to relevant products requirements and standards.
？ Collaborate with testing team to perform R&D verification test.
？ To solve the technical related problem from production and market.
？ To write the related technical documentations.

？ Bachelor’s Degree, major in Mechanical Engineering, Material and Electrical related professional.
？ 3+ years of Experience in Mechanical Design and 1 year in Project Management, Experience in low voltage product development and simulation is preferred.
？ Good knowledge in ProE/CreO and familiar with PLM operation. Familiar with the process of metal punching and plastic injection, and experience on kinematic and dynamic mechanical simulation are preferred.
？ Fluent in written and verbal English.
？ Good communication skill, highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work will be considered as plus.
