Responsible to: General Manager
Job Purpose:
Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements, data analysis data base.

Job Facts and Requirements:
Skills/Qualifications: Analyzing Information, Estimating, Planning, Reporting Research Results, Data Center Experience, Strategic Planning, Attention to Detail, Informing Others, Requirements Analysis, ISO 9001:2008, Mechanical Material Analysis data, Degree Level required.
You would normally work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm
Much of your work will be computer-based, working in our Beijing office. You will do some travelling to meet suppliers & clients.
Principal Duties & Accountabilities:
? Prepares Quotations to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
? Identifies Labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
? Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
? Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
? Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data
? Maintains technical database; Drawing Library reviewing technical publications.
Direction Received:
Basic policy decision determined your quarterly performance review. This is for general ongoing monitoring purposes; for the most part the job holder is perfectly capable of carrying out his activities with minimum guidance.

With all departments at every level.
Knowledge and Experience:
To be a good project & design engineer you will need:
? Must have the ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English. This is a must the interviews will be held in English, and all documentation prepared and submitted is in the English language.
? Assist with preparation of cost portion of engineering procurement contracts.
? Collects, monitors, analyzes and reports all cost information through Projects Design Engineer
? Assists projects & design engineer in the negotiation of project contracts as required.
? Strong problem-solving skills
? A sound knowledge of CAD and Computer software
? An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles
? Excellent communication skills
? An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
? Good team-working skills
? An appreciation of business demands
? An awareness of the environmental impact of design ideas.
