As a R&D Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Business Unit Drives and Controls (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

Your Tasks as a R&D Electrical Engineer will include the following:

？ Electrical design for LV and MV drive products, including main circuit design, control circuit design, component dimensioning, BoM collection and update, etc..
？ Testing for LV and MV drive products, including testing plan drafting, building testing system, testing, testing results analysis, testing report drafting, etc.
？ Reliability design for LV and MV drive products, including reliability plan drafting, FIT calculation, DFMEA design, component lifetime calculation, HALT, ALT, environment testing, design margin testing, etc.
？ Supporting internal and external customers on technical challenges.
？ Take part in electrical design for LV and MV switchgear and control device, including main circuit design / control circuit design, component dimensioning, BoM/configuration table collection and upgrade.
？ Work as a friendly and proactive member in R&D organization.

？ Master Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related area.
？ 3+ years of Working Experience in Agile Development Environment.
？ Familiar with Electrical Design related work in LV or MV drive products and Eplan.
？ Good knowledge in reliability design related, testing, certification related work in LV or MV drive products and related actual experience is preferred.
？ Familiar with inside component characters and electrical design for LV or MV switchgear and control devices and actual experience in the design or testing of LV or MV switchgear and control devices.
？ Excellent in actual testing and usual testing instrument are preferred.
？ Good team player with positive attitude and excellent communication and presentation skills will be considered as plus.
？ Fluent in English.
