As a Transport, Trade & Logistic Specialist, you will be part of the Power Grid (PG) Division and Grid Integration Business Units (BU) based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

Your tasks as a Transport, Trade & Logistic Specialist will include the following:

？ Responsible for inbound and outbound logistics activities in day-to-day operation, like material pickup, transportation, import and export. Resolve issue by coordinating internal team and external service providers to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.
？ Responsible for PO placement to payment activities with service providers (forwarder, customs broker, control tower, etc.).
？ Select appropriate transport mode(s) and plans transport routes to minimize costs and meet business timeline requirements.
？ Issue RFQ to forwarder to get price and proposal, in tender and execution phase to support budget calculation and meet project budget.
？ Ensure compliance of shipping, import and export with all local and global regulations.
？ Work as focal point with group function and country to launch and implement new processes and tools in logistics.
？ Set up, record and track KPI with service provider, improve service providers’ performance to reduce operating lead time and cost.

？ Bachelor’s degree or above, major in logistics, international trade or business administration.
？ At least 6 years’ professional experience in logistics, import and export experience, familiar with 3rd part logistic service provider’s working process and import/export policy and regulation.
？ Experience of working in power, automation and equipment industry or 3rd party logistic service provider will be an advantage.
？ Language ability-fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
？ Knowledge in computer applications e.g. SAP, MS office suite, etc.
？ Good communication skill with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and government officers.
？ Team player and self-starter, can working in pressure environment.
