Do you want to take the challenging role of being a Compliance Officer providing compliance advisory and support to WFOB’s wealth management business in China? Do you want to closely work with internal clients/ stakeholders?

  

  

You will:

  

?Provide compliance advice to the Corporate Support Functions (Ops, IT etc.) Liaise with various business partners in the Bank as well as regulatory agencies and external law firms and to handle requests from business partners accordingly;

  

?Analyze new products and services, transactions and/or client business structures and formulate and deliver compliance advice accordingly with the view to enabling business while minimizing risks and protecting the Bank's reputation;

  

?Handle regulatory requests and enquiries, including regular or ad hoc inspections. Provide inputs from WM Compliance Perspective for regulatory reports/surveys; support entity-wide regulatory management.

  

?Attend various management/committee meetings to represent WM Compliance and provide compliance inputs;

  

?Closely monitor the development of regulatory requirements. Conduct impact analysis and timely advise the Business and other support functions. Coordinate the implementation of workflows and controls in accordance with the regulatory requirements;

  

?Participate in the development of annual Compliance Plan including Compliance risk assessment, Compliance testing and Compliance training;

  

?Review the Bank’s policies, procedures and operational guideline regularly from a WM Compliance perspective

  

?Participate in the development of Compliance policies and procedures, Code of Conducts and other Compliance guidelines of the Bank. Assess the effectiveness of the Bank’s Compliance management framework and provide guidance to staff.

  

  

You have:

  

?Minimum & desired levels of education / degrees;

  

?Work experience and skills, such as: technical or job-specific skills, industry experience, specific ?knowledge requirements, and management experience;

  

?Language proficiency;

  

?Demonstrable competencies, etc.
