  Your role   

Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have the know-how for challenging Finance Control Framework from a design and operating perspective? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:

  

• Review of the Internal Control Assessment of the local Finance function and ensure that the finance function has raised any operational risk and that the finance function is taking action on the identified risks.

• Supports the functional finance head in determining the risk appetite metrics.

• Conduct the independent control assurance program Key Procedural control (KPC) testing.

• Ensures that the Finance function raises all necessary operational risk in SORT (Operational Risk Inventory ORI tool)

        Your team   

You’ll be working in the APAC Finance FORM team. The APAC FORM team has 3 other members the Head of APAC Finance Operational Risk team is an ED level based in Sydney and the other 2 team members are based in Hong Kong and are a D and AD level.

  Your experience and skills  

You have:

  

• a university degree in accounting, business or similar field

• experience in a role like this

• knowledge of operational risk management

• understanding of a bank's front to back control environment

        

  

You are:

  

• methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail

• ability to challenge stakeholders

• follow through with deliverables

• able to apply technical understanding to practical problems (you can’t be replaced by a robot)

• fluent in Mandarin and English
