1. Area of responsibility
The Marketing Communication Manager is responsible for developing marketing measures for frequency converter for China.
The aim here is to market Siemens frequency converters especially designed for China (Local Line). On the basis of standard Siemens products, the Chinese customer expects a robust, high-quality and price sensitive product that incorporates all the advantages these products have to offer as standard. This involves:
Preparing campaigns and regular, situation-based measures
Developing and implementing market launches for frequency converter
as well as developing a clear message for the Local Line separated from Global Line frequency converter (different unique selling points)
Basis: Marketing process and task definition, knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and the products in accordance with the Siemens rules of procedure.
2. Tasks
Development of integrated, international communication concepts with the involvement of DF MC Marketing HQ, Product Management, Business Development, and the central Communications department; synchronization of measures with other Business Units.
Alignment with and integration of value-added topics such as: TIA (Totally Integrated Automation), TIA Portal, Energy Management,
Using of marketing measures via existing tools and/or communication of these measures from the DF MC HQ to the Chinese Sales region.
Evaluation and selection of different marketing channels as well as responsibility for the integrated implementation of individual measures; 360-degree customer journey with the support/involvement of Marketing colleagues.

Measures include:
Website, tweets, SEO/SEA campaigns, controlling
Coordination of technical articles and references
Audiovisual media, e.g. videos, podcasts
Print media such as brochures, flyers, posters, displays
Point-of-sales materials such as roll-ups, posters, promotional items
Internal communication of marketing measures through newsletter
Preparation of annual action plans
Management of internal and external service providers/agencies (briefing, obtaining offers, commissioning, controlling)
Budget controlling at the measure level
3. Skills
Basic knowledge of technology in the area of frequency converter and the related markets
Coordination and organizational talent for handling the marketing communication requirement specification
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, networked thinking
Ability to shape and implement concepts in campaigns and measures
Argumentation and presentation skills
Ability to work in an international team, organizational skills
(Controlling and coordinating the team members involved and the associated technology and Business Development teams)
Market and sector expertise
Good spoken and written Chinese and English
Willingness to work closely with DF MC Marketing HQ in Erlangen
