As a R&D Specialist, you will be part of the Electrification Products (EP) Division and Building Products (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

Your Tasks as a R&D Specialist will include the following:

？ Software development for KNX.
？ Software architecture.
？ Build up Chinese KNX Software team.
？ Roll out modern software processes.
？ Collaboration with European software team.
？ Collaboration in global software improvement program.

？ Ideally you should have Master’s degree (or higher) from a university in Computer science.
？ Very skilled in C and C++ programming, experience in hardware near software development (Microcontroller etc.), embedded system programming and good knowledge about electronics (Transistors, optocoupler, operational amplifiers etc. should be known).
？ You must have the basic knowledge for EMC, Serial Protocols, software architecture.
？ Knowledge about modern software development: Build servers, Version control, unit tests, software architecture, UML, etc.
？ Knowledge for automated tests, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, C# or VB, requirement engineering.
？ Experienced with KNX software development.
？ Candidate must be able to solve problems and work out solutions independently and self-employed with high own motivation.
？ Affine for using new software tools, good ability for learning new tools.
