In Security Technology and Response, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a global team of security engineers, virus hunters, threat analysts, and researchers that provides the underlying security technology, content, and support for all Symantec corporate and consumer security products. The division considers not only today's threats, but the threats of tomorrow and uses this intelligence to develop entirely new approaches to security. These technologies are being developed for every possible platform including the network infrastructure, servers, desktops, and mobile devices. The group is high-talent and high-energy, pushing new technologies that must achieve the best detection, best performance, and best user experience in the marketplace.

Responsibilities
? This is a Technical Director position in Security Technology & Response Team in Symantec, Beijing office.
? Work on mobile related products
? Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project
? Work on multiple products simultaneously
? Work with group on committed milestones
? Accurately estimate your own work product and that of others'
? Provide feasible solution for implementation problems
? Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction
Qualifications
? Possess very strong programming skills
? Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+years)
? Proven experience includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk
? Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex technical topics
? Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required
? The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
? Experience in mobile industry, Android OS/iOS/Windows Phone 7
? The ability to work in a team environment
? Responsible for leading development team design, development and implement highly complex components in given products
? Knowledge of security or cloud technology is a plus
? Action-oriented; passionate; detail centric; strong problem solving skills; ability to collaborate with others/other team
