To launch, develop and vigorously grow our position in China, we are announcing the following open position:
Business Development Manager /
Head of INOMICS China Office
INOMICS is looking for a sales and internet professional who can kick-start and lead INOMICS' activities in the Chinese market and oversee business development, sales and marketing initiatives. The position is available on a full time basis and will be based in Beijing with strong daily coaching and support from our core team in Berlin, Germany.
Tasks include:
? Acquire new customers, deepen existing customer relationships throughout China and systematically nurture and grow strong customer relationships using salesforce.com
? Adapt existing products to requirements of Chinese market and localize existing sales strategies
? Take a lead in raising INOMICS' brand awareness in China through social-media channels and marketing activities, with a clear focus on university departments, economics research institutes as well as banks and government organizations
? Establish media channels and help build relationships with economists, journalists and bloggers
? Regular communication with core team in Berlin via online communication channels (e.g. Skype)
Requirements:
? Master of business, technology, economics, or a social-science related discipline with a major component in Internet, marketing, sales, business development, advertising or similar field
? 3-4 years experience in product marketing, sales or business development in internet business, experience with an online job board is a big plus
? A self-motivated, positive person with good project management skills and leadership skills
? Professional experience in relation to an academic university environment is a plus
? Fluent oral and written English. Mother tongue Mandarin. Further language skills are an advantage
? A positive attitude, happy to work very independently and as part of a global team
