Key Responsibilities

Under supervision, operation and monitoring of the control console of a mainframe or server to provide remote smart hands support. Following established procedures performs routine and standard operations such as loading input and output media including tapes, cards, discs, etc. Observes control panels for malfunctions, errors or operator messages and responds accordingly. Refers complex problems to Tier 2 support as necessary.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

？ Junior College degree required

？ Technical certificate in computer hardware support preferred

？ Family with Microsoft products, have MCSE certification Understanding of ITIL v3 Processes including Incident, Change, Problem and Configuration Management.

？ Certification of ITIL v3 process desired or obtainable.

？ Familiar with the use of BMC ITSM tool and Atrium CMDB (Configuration Management Data Base)

？ Advanced written and verbal communication skills required

？ Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and, Visio

？ 2+ years computer operations support experience desired
