Role Purpose
Merkle’s Data Management & Analytics Cloud team is looking for a senior Cloud developer.
You will be working on industry leading public Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform to design, develop, and implement next generation Marketing solutions leveraging Cloud native and Commercial/Open Source Big Data technologies.
You will design, develop and implement marketing solutions that can scale upto hundreds of-terabyte or petabytes. lead and perform the development and maintenance of large-scale big data solutions to meet client business objectives, and have an opportunity to work with a cross-disciplinary team across various divisions of the company.
Key Responsibilities
? Work closely with the business unit and solution leads to better understand the requirements and ensure an on-time and quality delivery
? Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance as and when necessary
? Design, develop and maintain marketing solutions on Cloud built upon Hadoop/Spark and other Cloud native database services.
? Perform quality assurance and testing at the unit level
? Write user and technical documentation

Key Skills and Experience
? Good written and oral English communication
? College diploma or above in Computer Science or related IT field
? Skilled at Python, Java programming.
? Skilled at Shell Script, SQL Script.
? Experience designing and implementing Big Data solutions on Public Cloud such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Alibaba, or Microsoft Azure.
? Data ETL experience using Informatica, Talend or equivalent technology.
? Agile Development.
? Experience of building and coding applications using Pyspark, Spark, Message Queues.
? Experience in marketing technology a plus
Knowledge in Cloud Exposure, Machine Learning, Container Knowledge, Columnar Analytic DBs are pluses.
