Job Title: Business Unit Manager/Marketer - China
Job Summary
The role of the Business Unit Manager / Marketer is to provide the company with consistent profits by effectively generating sales and purchase contracts for an assigned group of products. This position will also be responsible for the development of a sustainable business model for China. That model will expand our opportunities in China and establish Wilbur Ellis – Feed Asia as a key player in the marketing of Ingredients and Additives for use in the Livestock Industry.
Responsibilities:
· Identify growth opportunities in China and lead the Feed Asia team to:
- Establish a marketing plan and identify roles for each team member
- Execute the plan - Monitor the results and follow up for accountability
· Execute key purchase and sales agreements between North America & China as well from China to other locations within Asia. - Purchases and Sales to move through both supply chains - Generate profits from business transactions that will meet the business requirements and expectations of Feed Asia - Be the key control point for all product marketing to or from China for Feed Asia staff in North America and Asia.
· Build relationships with customers and suppliers
· Promote company name/reputation in marketplace
· Collect market information and gain a comprehensive knowledge about commodities and products marketed in China
· Manage risk by operating within established guidelines such as: Credit, Positions, Policy
· Work effectively within a team environment
Essential Skills/Traits / Competencies
· Minimum of 5 years work experience in the China Feed Industry and a knowledge of the ingredient and additive markets in China, with a bachelor’s degree in Business/Ag or other related discipline, and/or an appropriate combination of experience and education
· Capable of overnight business travel, to include occasional travel by airplane, and possible international travel
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in written form in both English and Mandarin.
·Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with Chinese Customers and Suppliers
· Creative thinker who can build a business and generate new ideas
· Must be able to follow corporate direction and policies promoting excellence

积极开拓中国市场、发展销售渠道、推进公司指定的系列产品的销售,发展有效及稳定的商业合作模式,建立Wilbur-Ellis公司在中国地区家畜行业饲料原料的配料及添加剂产品的领导地位。
岗位职责:
· 寻求产品在中国市场的发展前景及途径并领导团队完成以下:
- 制定市场发展计划、明确各销售人员的工作职责
- 实施制定的市场发展计划
- 监督并跟进相关任务
· 负责北美及亚洲与中国地区采购与销售相关事宜,其中包括:
- 采购与销售的各个相关供应链
- 通过销售交易的完成达到公司预期的目标利润
- 建立并达到可负责中国地区所有产品的市场运作的主要核心,以服务于饲料部门亚洲分区其它同事
· 建立客户与供应商的合作关系
· 建立并推动公司在中国地区的知名度及品牌
· 全面而广泛市场信息的收集及整理
· 相关业务运作准则的建立、执行及风险评估(包括信用额度、市场地位、有关政策)
· 与工作团对紧密合作
职位要求:
· 农业/商业或其它相关专业大学本科学历并有5年以上相关行业从业经历,拥有熟悉中国市场的饲料原料及添加剂的专业知识及背景
· 可经常出差,包括国内与国际
· 沟通能力强,中英文书面及口语均流利
· 善于建立并维护与客户及供应商的合作关系
· 善于提出、创造并建立业务新视点
· 可坚定执行并贯彻公司制定的方针及相关制度
· 优秀的组织能力
