Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes and implements legal contractual procedures and policies to minimize liability and to optimize contract effectiveness;

• Drafts and negotiates various types of agreements with customers, strategic partners, government agency, distributors, vendors, lenders and others;

• Analyzes, reviews and drafts contracts with investigators or other consultants (from external law firm)/vendors as a solicitor of services;

• Evaluates ’s activities, policies and transactions to protect company interests and ensure that they comply with relevant law;

• Provides general legal advice and corporate issues to senior management and operations staff;

• Conducts the internal compliance audit(FCPA, antibribery), provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar problem;

• Assists in dealings with local government agencies and other authorities;

• Sets new branches as per business needs;

• Handles legal disputes, arbitrations and litigation in China on behalf of ; manages all claims and collections, supervises and coordinates external law firms for arbitration/litigation affairs with a view to optimize their services and costs;

• Monitors state laws and regulations(especially pharmaceutical law) for relevant changes;

• Takes charge of routine legal documentation for corporate governance;

• Establishes and maintain the legal team.

  Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Law

• Enthusiastic and results oriented attitude; detail oriented; strong organizational skills

• Effective communication skills; excellent spoken and written Chinese and English

• Experienced in and comfortable with IT and Knowledge Management tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc.

• Working experience in law firm or MNC legal department a plus

• Good team player

• Open attitude, Willing to meet challenges

• Proven experience of working in confidential situations.
