职位描述

Position: Product Management

Division/Department: Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand / G4 e-Mobility and Connectivity

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

The position holder is part of the Product Management E-Mobility team which is responsible for the platform and products based on the Modular Electrification Kit (MEB) for VW Brand China. The position holder is responsible for strategic and innovation projects arising due to the novelty and strategic importance of the MEB vehicle category.

  • Strategic planning and projects

  • Steering of integration of vehicle projects with MEB-related eco-systems, especially digital mobility services and electro-mobility

  • Responsibility for special tasks, especially MEB-related board of management requests

  • Market analysis and knowledge management for E-Mobility

Your responsibility:

  • Lead identification and conduction of strategic projects for Region China

  • Lead multi-departmental project teams

  • Responsibility to ensure that MEB projects are effectively and efficiently integrated in cross projects initiatives

  • Market analysis and knowledge management for New E-Mobility

Our requirements:

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of product strategy and marketing experience, with 3+ years in the automotive sector

  • Professional market research, customer research and product research knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques

  • Knowledge of automotive engineering and automotive industry

  • Experience in Chinese automotive market, Joint Venture steering

  • Professional work experiences in relevant field as data management

  • University degree Bachelor (Master/MBA advantageous): business, economics, marketing and sales, business management or similar, industrial engineering

  • Preferred subject major in automotive management or automotive engineering

Personal skills:

  • Strategic thinking

  • Self-driven, Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Readiness to accept responsibility

  • Strong project, problem solving and time management skills

  • Communication skill, persuasive appearance

  • MS Office proficient

  • Excellent oral and written expression ability

  • Client and detail oriented, work well independently and in a team environment

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

  • MS Office proficient , i.e. Excel & Powerpoint skill

  • Advanced knowledge in auto industry, including major players and their products, government policies, product segmentation methodology and etc

  • Analytical skills

  • Proficiency in technical report & memo creation, Industry knowledge in automotive industry

  • English & Chinese language skills essential, good at official English writing, German advantageous
