Position overview职位简介:

Dubbed as “indoor air quality doctors”, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) consultants help clients diagnose and solve indoor environmental quality issues. Consultants work with people to identify IEQ concerns, deliver a suitable testing plan to systematically prove/disprove a hypothesis, conduct on-site investigations with specialized equipment and industry-standard analytical techniques, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities工作职责:

Independently lead indoor environmental projects, including:

独立开展室内环境相关项目，包括：

o Office and home indoor environmental “health checks”, including IEQ verification consultation and testing per Green building certification (LEED, WELL, and RESET)

o PM2.5 infiltration and building tightness audits

o Mold investigations

Interact with clients during visits – explain process, determine any additional needs, and collect payments as necessary. Consultants will be supported by account managers, who will have previously gathered information about client situation

Supervise lab sampling technicians during client visits and conduct specialized sampling as needed

Generate reports with analysis based on objective and empirical data

Debrief clients and present findings in a concise manner through emails, conference calls, and/or face-to-face meetings; recommend solutions (either remediation services or products) to clients

Calibrate, deploy, maintain, and research equipment and technology

Additional duties may include sales, thought leadership (speaking to groups or writing articles), and industry-related research

Requirements要求:

Educational background in science (microbiology, industrial hygiene, chemistry) or environmental studies preferred

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as industrial hygienist (health and safety), environmental auditor, or environmental consultant; or 3 years of consulting or client-facing project management experience, if non-environmental related. Possessing of CIH, CIE, WELL/LEED/RESET AP or other industrial hygiene or environmental auditor certifications is a plus

Willing and able to conduct on-site inspections of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and roofing systems in ceiling cavities, crawl spaces, and rooftops; willing and able to lift and carry up to 7-10 kilograms of testing and remediation equipment on a constant basis

Work hours工作时间:

Working hours are typically from 0930-1830, but our company supports a flexible and project-based work schedule; work may entail occasional weekend and overtime work. But if required, will be offset by time off on another workday
