Job Description :IBM GSSC (Global Shared Services Center) provides a comprehensive range of globalization and accessibility services to IBM worldwide product development teams. The services cover globalization planning, translation management, globalization verification testing (GVT), globalization consultation, file management, translation verification testing (TVT), language pack Building and Kitting, globalization defect fixes, accessibility enabling, and accessibility verification testing.As a Globalization Testing Specialist, you will collaborate with worldwide product development teams for timely issues resolution while rigorously adhering to the team's agile development processes, and have a good chance to get familiar with the hot technologies, such as cloud, cognitive solutions, analytics, blockchain, and so on. You will be responsible for design, execution, and automation of test suites which thoroughly exercise new and existing functionality. You will be ultimately responsible for working with a group of peers to ensure that our products are delivered on schedule and with high quality.The essential duties and responsibilities include product requirement and design review, test requirement definition, test strategy and test case design, test tools development, effective testing and quality assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop test cases and set up test environments on various OS platforms.- Execute Globalization Verification Test (GVT) test cases by following the IBM GVT Guide.

- Support worldwide linguistic testers to complete the Translation Verification Test (TVT)

- Track and fix problems for assigned tasks, identify concerns and potential problem areas for leaders.

- Handle customer issues and perform the testing specific to language environments as requested.

- Innovate to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operation and testing processes.
