1. Develop Pricing Strategies: Set list prices and develop discount programs, assist in creating promotional campaigns, compare prices set by competitors and measure customer satisfaction based on the cost of a company’s product or service.
2. Track Market Trends: Help to complete market research for new product or service ideas.
3. Buildup quotation & approval process and create and recommend standardized pricing reports and metrics to track success. Reports should support decision making by the business units. The reports may include measures of price variance, negative margin products, dashboards, etc.
4. Develop working relationships with key business leaders to support pricing initiatives and strategy implementation. Support may include (but are not limited to) the creation of customized reports, interpretation of standardized pricing metrics, and the analysis of market segments.
5. Develop and manage analytical tools such as linear regression and clustering analysis, identify pricing opportunities and recommend pricing actions to the business units.
6. Drive Pricing Initiatives including Price Tactics, Margin Improvement, Price Effectiveness and Pricing Capability needs of the organization.
7. Facilitate Price Setting Process, e.g. List Price, Discount, PCR (Price Change Request), Price Governance.
8. Provide Guidelines in optimizing Commercial Policy and Promotions with corresponding Impact Analysis
9. Work with local Commercial Team on implementing Pricing Optimization Strategies
10. Collaborate with Finance/Controlling to Monitor Gross to Net Spending, for a better visibility in Pricing Waterfall.
11. Run Pricing Dashboard, Monitor Pricing KPI's, Facilitate Root Cause Analysis with Commercial Team, Support building Corrective Action Plan

Skills

1. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, mathematical and analytical skills.
2. Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
3. Financial knowledge for P&L and margin/price decision making
4. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance and/or related field. Master/MBA is a plus.
5. Minimum 5 years work experience in Pricing, Finance or Commercial areas of CRO or other consultant/Service industry
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
