Position Summary:
Initially, to lead, manage and carry out the strategy for the development of all operational & logistics activities in the China market. Over time, the candidate will take added responsibility for all commercial activities within the region so that all activities within China report directly into Country Manager.
Essential Functions:
? Operations: Manage in country cabinet and safety can contract manufacturing relationships with multiple suppliers to ensure quality, delivery and cost metrics are met to achieve strategic growth & margin objectives for China and ROW.
? Sourcing: Lead local team to identify, qualify and integrate best component suppliers for Q,D,C metrics that meet Justrite strategic objective for lowest landed cost.
? Strategic: Develop, recommend and implement short and long range strategies consistent with the guidelines provided by the VP Operations & VP Sales & Marketing to achieve Justrite Strategic Objectives
? Goal Setting: Defines and recommends objectives in each functional area of responsibility. Develops specific short and long-term plans and programs to achieve financial objectives.
? Budget: Creates and manages local budget, assures local production and sales goals are met as well as long term profitability and competitiveness are maintained.
? Management: Recruits, trains, establishes goals & objectives and handles performance management for reporting staff. Establishes succession plans and staff development goals.
? Regulatory: Assists with maintaining knowledge regarding local regulations and laws that impact current and future product requirements
? Communication: Strong communication skills with high level of emotional maturity. Good English and Chinese language skills in order to communicate with local team and global teammates.

Measurements:
This position:
? Directly supervises 3 people
? Indirectly manages 5 people (dotted line to sales initially, China team will grow)
? Controls an annual budget of $0.5M (Will grow)
? Has responsibility for delivering $5M in annual sales, locally & globally (Will grow)
? Oversee 1 FICE & 2 contract manufacturers w/ support for Zhuhai bonded warehouse
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
Three to Five years experience as a manufacturing or operations manager in a progressive work environment emphasizing lean principles, employee empowerment and cross-functional team behavior. The candidate should have general experience with financial measures that drive tangible results through improvements in operational performance. He or she should be comfortable with technical products, commercial activities involving developing and managing distribution relationships, marketing activities and product development activities. Active participation in employee recruitment required. International business exposure will assist the candidate in relating to a global team with operations and logistics hubs in North America & Europe. Three to Five years in a supervisory capacity required to lead a growing organization.
Education / Training Required:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering or Management required, with MBA or other graduate degree a plus. The candidate will have effective Chinese and English speaking and writing skills necessary to communicate effectively across the Justrite organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Project management skills a plus.

Compensation:
The winning candidate will receive a competitive base and variable compensation package commensurate with the position responsibilities and the chosen candidate's credentials and experience.
