ITID (Information Technology Infrastructure Delivery)
Within HSBC Operations, Services and Technology, ITID implements and manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical to day-to-day operations for HSBC customer and user IT services, ensuring that issues are identified and resolved quickly to provide optimum levels of service with sufficient capacity, resilience and security. The division provides optimized and cost efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases in support of the services that are delivered from its data centers over both voice and data networks to desktops and other end-user devices throughout our business.
We are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join our team as Technical Analyst – RSC Delivery.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the users in using various PC tools in Beijing Branch and China North wide across HSBC enities.
- Maintains currency of technical documentation and procedures, prepare and update relevant operations and support procedures.
- IT Asset Management by following China ITID instruction.
- Regular monitor the system resources utilization of PC and other peripheral equipment, and perform daily SER room maintenance.
- Controls the incident and problem management process of production services.
- Act as local RM to keep timely communication with users, to know end users’ requirement and their opinion and suggestion on IT service.
- Work as the local coordinator for IT related projects.
- Work closely with internal team to deal with Regulation related request.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Work under pressure
- Minimum 2 years' relevant hands-on experience with MS windows platform
- Good at maintaining the PC hardware and Office applications.
- Experience in managing vendors
- A self starter and service oriented
- Fluent in reading/writing English
- Self-motivated
