Position: IT Senior Internal Auditor

Division/Department: Internal Audit

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

• Plan and conduct internal audits in IT related areas such as software development, IT service processes, IT projects and IT security.

• Support special investigations related to fraud, corruption and conflicts of interest.

• Support decision making in the company by reporting audit results to top management.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and organize process audits.

• Perform audits to evaluate the security, reliability, effectiveness, functionality and reasonability of IT business processes.

• Identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency and cost savings/profitability; Identify potential savings and charge-backs to third parties during audit performance, based on solid analysis and projections.

• Support ad-hoc investigations into allegations of fraud, corruption, and conflicts of interest with data obtainment and data analysis tools and procedures.

• Communicate audit findings and negotiate the proposed action plan with all management levels.

• Follow up and negotiate the implementation of audit actions and suggestions in cooperation with the Audit Manager.

• Assist in the annual audit planning based on risk assessments and identified issues in previous audits/experiences.

• Key user of IT systems for internal audit.

• Keep abreast of corporate policies, procedures, local regulations and current developments in IT related areas, as applicable.

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

• Minimum requirement of a University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; MBA or other Master Degree is preferable.

Personal skills:

Must be proficient in:

• Data analysis software (e.g. Excel, ACL, Access), and SAP R/3 (i.e. FI/CO and MM modules)

• Forensic analysis tools (e.g. Encase)

• Compliance, anti-corruption, risk assessment and risk management topics

Demonstrates the ability to:

• Think analytically and critically

• Manage conflicts and propose effective/efficient business solutions to all management levels

• Understand international and local (Chinese) culture

Working experience (in years):

• Minimum 3 years of auditing/advisory experience in IT related areas.

• International education and/or working experience are preferable.

Languages:

• English – full professional proficiency which includes the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in verbal and written form.

• Chinese (Mandarin) – limited working proficiency which includes the ability to understand and hold business conversations; being able to read and write Chinese is preferable.

Certifications (preferable)

• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor),

• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor),

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant),

• CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner).
