Responsibilities

· Manage project schedules and cost controls

· Identify suppliers and evaluate their capability from commercial and technical points of view

· Collate and approve suppliers and contractors, and provide recommendations for each enquiry.

· Guide the process of developing products/category specification based on limited input from end users

· Identify technical deviations and commercial departures, and propose solutions

· Coordinate suppliers’ on-site visits for clients and provide all related documentation, translation, interpretation, etc.

· Produce documentation to support and satisfy client's requirements

· Manage suppliers and clients through strong personal interaction and communication.Maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers/contractors

· Ensure stakeholders are informed of status/problems

· Manage risks through entire project process, solving unexpected problems as needed

Requirements

· Background in mechanical, mining, oil & gas, or chemicals industry.

· A bachelor degree or above with a minimum of 5-years work experience as engineer.

· Ability of self-management and stakeholder-management is essential

· Ability to organize and present facts and arguments in a persuasive and convincing manner

· Proficient in the use of computers and commonly-used business software

· Good communication skills and team work ethic

· Excellent English and Mandarin, both written and spoken

· Ability and willingness to travel
