职位描述
Primary objectives: Improve ENGIE China’s market position and financial growth. With the guidance of Sr. Business developer and support of Marketing & Strategic team, he/she needs to build key stakeholder/partner relationships and identifies business opportunities in off-shore wind sector and might explore to CSP (Concentrating Solar Power) in a later stage. He/she also negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and technology in off-shore wind and potentially CSP area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand ENGIE’s goal and strategy in order to continually enhance performance by actions;
- Monitor the business environment, in both China and worldwide, in order to identify any potential change of market in an effective manner;
- Meet potential stakeholders/partners by growing, maintaining, and leveraging network;
- Prospect for potential new opportunities/partnerships within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities;
- (Pre)qualify them to retain the best opportunities, while estimating your partners' needs and goals;
- When approved, with the support of your manager, sets-up, lead and motivate international and multidisciplinary teams to assess risks and potentials, as well as value all the aspects of an BD operation (technical, HSE, commercial, financial, legal, ethics, risks management, marketing and strategy, HR…);
- With the support of your manager, responsible for the guidance of operations and carries the responsibility for bringing them before the decision-making bodies of ENGIE China and the Group, while following ENGIE best practices, methodologies and standards (incl. Peer Review, BDO,…);
- With the support of your manager, you will be responsible for the negotiation of contracts with interested parties (purchaser, vendor, partners, government bodies): NDA, LOI, MOU, NBO, SPA, SHA,… for developing or purchasing projects/services or assets/company;
- With the support of your manager, when operations completed/closed, transfer in a professional manner all the relevant documentation to the Operations Department in order for it to pursue successfully the operational aspects
Skills and Specifications:
- Ability to build a strong network in domain of offshore wind’s expertise and market.
- Understanding of offshore wind market dynamics, ENGIE China’s competitors, as well as partners/customers’ needs and requirements.
- Experience in CSP industry is a plus.
- Good organizational skills are essential, as well as risks management and performance monitoring.
- Good interpersonal skills, with a strong team spirit.
- Flexible and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks at single instance within compressed times.
- Innovative, stress tolerance and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel when needed.
- Tenacity, persuasiveness, ability to project himself or herself in the future and to outline strategic focuses and action plans.
Background
- Education: Master; engineering background and/or a sound technical understanding of the onshore/offshore wind industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience required in onshore/offshore wind sector in business development position
- Mother tongue is Mandarin, proficiency both spoken and written in English and Chinese.
