Job Purpose

Support North Asia Managing Director and Greater China Management Team members during business meetings, internal and external events, and travels with English and Chinese interpretation and translation. Provide day-to-day support to Managing Director’s office and LOB meetings and documents related to translation service.

Key Responsibilities

· Accompany North Asia Managing Director and Greater China Management Team members to business meetings and travels to provide interpretations and translations for internal and external business occasions.

· Provide day-to-day interpretation/translations on an ad hoc basis as needed.

· Support various LOBs in Greater China (example):

Local Content Interpret for Executive Producer in internal story develop meetings and external meetings with vendors DCP Simultaneous interpreting for Annual Kick Off Meeting Interpret at licensee meetings Digital Interpret at business partner meetings Proofreading translation submitted by vendor TDS Interpret for store cast character training Interpret for TDS Assistant Manager/Cast Lead interviews Government Affairs Interpret at government affairs meetings with Pudong CIQ Interpret at vendor meetings Studio Interpret for meetings with China Film Interpret for actors, directors, producers during movie talent tours Media ESPN Tencent meetings Marketing Interpret for Disney Style team during Shanghai Fashion Week

Requirements

Education:

? Bachelor’s degree +2 years translation/interpretation related experience

Core Skills:

? Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills

? Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

? Ability to effectively interface with high level Company executives and clients

? Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

? Ability to work with others as a team

? Ability to prioritize effectively

? Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

? Confident, respectful, professional and ethical

? Willingness to learn and understand various LOBs
