The position is responsible regionally for managing Chinese local supplier quality, development of supply chain and Value Engineering for the Company’s business units and corresponding product lines. The tasks are both on own initiative presenting opportunities and solutions, as well as acting as the extended arm of our Group Product- and Sourcing-functions in P.R.China .

• Manage supplier quality through supplier maintenance and development.
• Identify new products, suppliers and other to the company
• Work cross-border with colleagues internally in same group of companies on projects and specific tasks

Target of Position:

• Search information for Supplier (Network, recommendation, exhibition)
• Negotiations and compare with Supplier, according the price, quality, lead time, payment.
• Clear up all supplier information in folder, like company information, quotation Etc.
• Search and Report Market information about our industry product, check and compare with them.
• Reduce our purchase cost, and assure the quality and delivery time of supplier.
• Development of local suppliers to ensure the compliance of the quality requirements.
• Communicate with and support our global new product development department.
• Communicate with and support our office administrative team.
• Adm. routines related to ordering, evaluation and other issues concerning supply of products and documentation.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering. Master’s in Engineering is a plus.
• Existing experience and established network within the Industrial segment
• Knowledge of industry product standards, machining process desired.
• To have business negotiation, and contract & law knowledge and experience.
• Open minded personality with communication skills, good analytical and systematic way of working.
• Capable of working independent, take initiative and at the same time be a team player in the organisation.
• Very good English skills in speech, writing and reading.
• References from previous employment, showing impeccable performance and integrity.
• Being familiar with ERP system U8 is a plus.
• Being familiar with MS Dynamics CRM system is a plus.
