1. Competence / Mission

He/She is an Engineer of Supplier Quality for railway applications.

He/She is graduated in machinery, material or casting, with University degree or above. He/She has at least above 5 years of quality control related experience, casting supplier management experience is a plus . He/She is fluent in English language.

He/She is familiar with quality tools.

He/She is responsible for managing and improving supplier quality.

He/She is responsible for implementing new supplier assessment, implementing quality system and process audit termly, following up NCR with supplier, and supporting supplier's APQP for new project.

He/She is available for work missions outside China.

2. Budget/Deliverables

He/She works closely with China Engineering management in order to forecast and monitor the needed budget for the related engineering activities.

He/She helps the China Engineering management in order to respect the delivery dates of the defined product deliverables.

3. Link to customers and car builders

He/She supports discussions with the Customer for the definition of technical requirements & services and performs technical presentations to the customers as required where suitable.

4. Training

He/She actively contributes to customer training in Wabtec Faiveley and Customer site and prepares dedicated training documents.
