Position Responsibilities:

? Able to perform process development trials on downstream process ,especially chromatography and ultrafiltration etc.

? Carry out reviews/audits to examine process sequences, design parameters, operation protocols, and recommend appropriate changes

? Present results and reports to biopharmaceutical companies; Derive relevant conclusion and recommendations for future course of action.

? Holding Scale up experiences during the biopharmaceutical downstream separation,

? Critically examine/analyze data and model process behavior to characterize process performance.

? Being familiar with chromatography principle and practical operation, such as Ion exchange ,HIC ,Affinity and size exclusion chromatography. Being able to operate AKTA system is preferred.

? Design experiments to understand process sensitivity and troubleshoot operation issues.

? Troubleshoot field application related issues: equipment, operation or design-related

? Be able to design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision

? Being familiar with NDA or INDA process of biopharmeceuticals.

? Able to understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).

? Effectively communicate with all project personnel, both internal and external.

Requirements/Qualification:

? Education background should be Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related engineering disciplines.

? Phd or master degree is required. More than three years for master, two years for Phd practical experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology related field is required.

? Experience with biopharmaceutical purification and processing at manufacturing, pilot, and/or lab scale, as well as a clear understanding of scaling requirements and constraints in these applications is necessary.

? Ability to define project goals and provide practical, effective solutions to separation challenges.

? Strong background and practical experience in chromatography of proteins & biomolecular is required.

? Position requires a sound knowledge of the principles and application of engineering fundamentals coupled with a hands-on, practical sensibility of engineering design.

? Good presentation skills, computer skills and communication skills. Good command of English, both oral and written.

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-driven focus are required.

? Excellent data analysis and organizational skills are needed.

? Willingness to travel.
