Role Summary/Purpose
This position supports GE/CFM aircraft engine product lines and with a 24/7 on shift team in the Aviation Operations Center Shanghai (AOCS). The Lead Technical Support Engineer (LTSE) develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you are responsible for support of China and Asia regional operators. You will utilize your understanding and experience to find solutions to customer issues and develop proactive solutions to the field using diagnostics tools.

Essential Responsibilities
Manage growth fleet customer communication, maintain interface with customer for technical and diagnostics support activities. - Serve as GE/CFM Lead Technical Support Engineer in AOCS - Provide technical response and assistance in a timely manner to the customers in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of product lines covered by AOCS - Assist the customer to integrate new fleet/tails into the Diagnostics System. Review alerts generated in the Diagnostics System. Perform diagnostics analysis and provide technical recommendations in a timely manner - Apply Six Sigma analytical tools to assist the customer and make process improvements in AOCS operation - Assist the customer with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) spare part ordering and issue resolution - Answer phone calls and respond to emails from the customers and GE Field Service Engineers (FSE) to resolve fleet issues - Make the customer visit and perform Diagnostics review with the customer on the regular basis - Support new engine Entry into Service (EIS) activities - Mentor less experienced engineers in AOCS

Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of experience in the aviation industry2. Must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and proven abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously3. Proven ability to establish productive working relationships in a cross-functional team environment4. Proven written and verbal communications skills – must be fluent in English. Proficient in all MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, as well as web applications
