职责:

主要的任务包括:

• 对在日本, 韩国, 印度尼西亚, 马来西亚, 泰国, 菲律宾和越南的行业专业人士进行深入细致的电话采访.
• 按照需要进行二手资料的收集, 比如通过网络书刊电话等方式查找新的联系办法和国家统计数据.

要求:

如下的个人技能和特质是必要的:

• 不畏惧打陌生电话和进行电话采访. 有电话或深度采访经验者优先.
• 较好的中英文, 如有多种亚洲语言能力者优先.
• 基本的电脑技能, 熟悉不同国家的网络搜索引擎和相关数据库来查找信息, 更新表格数据和联系人信息, 打字速度快, 能够填写采访问卷.
• 能够快速消化吸收信息资料以及理解新的产品和项目内容.

Short-Term Role: Researcher – Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino Speaker

BRG Building Solutions is a specialist market research consultancy dedicated to serving the global building products and chemical products industries from its offices in London, New Jersey, Beijing and New Delhi. We cover a number of dynamic markets worldwide.

At our offices in Guanghua Road, East Beijing, we are looking to recruit a capable researcher to work on a temporary basis for 3 months (with the possibility of extension), assisting with an exciting new project centred on selected Asian markets. The working dates and hours can be negotiable and arranged flexibly.

The Role

Key tasks will include:

• Conducting in-depth telephone interviews with industry professionals in Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
• Conducting secondary research where required (e.g. searching for new contacts and country statistics.)

The Person

The following skills and attributes are essential:

• A fearless attitude towards cold-calling and phone interviews. Experience in telephone and/or depth interviewing would be a strong advantage.
• A high level of spoken and written Chinese and English. Bilingual or multilingual ability of other Asian languages would be an advantage.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. using online search engines and databases to find information, updating contact lists in Excel, typing up interviews).
• The ability to absorb information and understand new subjects quickly.
