Job Description Summary

  

This position is responsible for designing, provisioning and routing of IP based switch routing through company network and adjacent networks in support of company product (IPX major) and Customers in Asia-Pacific Region mainly (and Europe, India upon needed). Must work closely with vendors on pricing, ordering and delivery to ensure the network is diverse as possible.

  

1. Design and provision both domestic and international Ethernet private leased circuits
2. Work with vendors (circuit and data center) to provision the circuit once order placed to vendors
3. Issue Letter of Authorizations to customers and third-party providers
4. Provide support to sales and implementation on pre-implementation as needed on complex designs and new products including when necessary on new opportunities
5. Coordinate completion of customer orders on or before customer due date
6. Support finance on billing issues

  

  

Requirements

  

Professional efficiency in English (speaking and writing)
Minimum 2-3 years related experience
Ability to read and understand technical publications
Strong organizational and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Experience and understanding of routing requirements
Previous experience in a Telecomm related field, specifically Engineering or Provisioning
Previous experience in Switch routing

  

Understanding of network diversity
Working knowledge of project management tools
Creative thinking and effective problem-solving skills
