DayDayUp is a membership-based business community that connects Chinese and global innovators. We curate global coworking spaces, as well as online and offline innovation communities, and are currently focused on four sectors:

Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Mobility, and Healthcare. Our team brings together startups, corporates, and investors (“X-Members”) within our Innovation Program and provides them with a trusted ecosystem within which to find quality products and resources.

As the Innovation Program Manager, you will be responsible for identifying startups relevant for DayDayUp ecosystem and DayDayUp corporate members.

The position will be divided in two main parts:

Conducting industrial intelligence in order to remain aware of the latest trends and the main important players within Chinese innovation ecosystem and answering DayDayUp corporate members’ needs by introducing them to relevant startups.

1- Industrial intelligence

· Responsible for conducting research about Chinese innovation trends and characteristics of most successful startups

· Responsible for identifying 5 startups in each key industry of DayDayUp (Industry 4.0, Mobility, Smart City and Healthcare) every month

· Responsible for conducting pre-research based on corporate members and investors requests.

· Update the CRM based on these research in a timely manner

· Look for partners to identify startups and promote DayDayUp startup ecosystem

· Attend events for benchmarking purposes and strengthen DayDayUp network

2- Services for corporate members

· Support understanding and clarifying corporates needs

· Conducting industry research to better understand ecosystem of the corporate member

· Responsible to write a report at the end of a project

· Responsible for looking for startups matching the needs of the client and startups to meet up (Demo Day, CEO dinner, private meetings)

· Responsible of organizing the events requested by DayDayUp members

Requirement

· Full passion on the tech ecosystem

· Strong capability to conduct extensive business research in an autonomous manner

· Strong analysis abilities to identify strengths and weaknesses of tech companies

· Analytical approach to solving problems

· Pro-active and sense of initiative

· Solution-oriented and optimistic

· Fluent in English and Mandarin

· Bachelor’s degree

· Over two years of relevant professional experience (preferably in an international environment)
