Illustrator/Designer

Summary of Position:

Illustrates concepts and designs for a variety of Thinkwell projects, using a wide range of media. Visualizes ideas and designs in all phases of the project, from concept and marketing imagery, to final design.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors and other team members to visualize specific ideas and designs for a given project;

2.Read and visually interpret ideas from treatments and scripts;

3.Attend meetings contribute to the development of ideas and concepts;

4.Participate in creative Charrettes with drawings and sketches;

5.Visual research for specific project and illustration needs;

6.Produce rough thumb-nails, initial layouts and final illustrations as needed;

7.Produce black and white or color illustrations as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills

1.A strong understanding and facility of the fundamentals of perspective;

2.A strong understanding of anatomy and the ability to render the human figure;

3.A strong grasp and understanding of the basic principles and elements of design (line, shape, color, value, contrast, etc.);

4.The ability render a wide variety of subjects in a realistic and convincing manner;

5.A basic understanding of scale measurement;

6.Ability to communicate and work with others in a creative process;

7.Ability to understand and work to deadlines and schedules;

8.Facility in a variety of illustration media including (but not limited to): traditional illustration media (pencil, acrylic, water color etc.), Photoshop, Illustrator;

9.A basic understanding of the history of visual design. Including architecture, costume, furniture, product and vehicle design and current trends;

10.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization;

11.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;

12.Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Minimum Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in related field;

2.Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch up;

3.A least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

必备知识技能：

1.对透视具备强的理解力和实施能力。

2.对分解结构具备很强的理解力和人物形象的表达能力。

3.对设计的基本原则和元素（线条，形状，颜色，价值，对比等） 具备很强的理解力和把控能力。

4.具备以实际的，有说服力的方式呈现多种样式主题的能力。

5.对刻度测量具备基本理解。

6.在创作过程中，具备与他人沟通和合作的能力。

7.具备理解并根据项目期限和时间表完成工作的能力。

8.具备对各种插图工具的实操能力 ，包括（但不限于）：传统工具（铅笔插图，丙烯酸，水彩等等），Photoshop，Illustrator。

9.基本了解视觉设计的历史，包括建筑，服装，家具，产品和车辆的设计以及目前的流行趋势。

10.能够看懂和理解简单的指令，简短的信函以及笔记或备忘录。能够撰写简单的信件。在一对一和小组的情况下能够有效地将信息呈现给其他员工。

11.利用全数字、普通分数和小数对所有度量单位进行加、减、乘，除的能力。

12.以书面，口头，或图表的形式，运用常识完成指令。

基本职位要求：

1.相关专业本科学历或以上。

2.必须精通Photoshop, Illustrator和Sketch up软件。

3.至少具备1年与以上职能与职责直接相关的工作经验。
