Purpose of Job: Purpose of Job 职位概要：

A senior electrical engineer works on a project from the initial concept, through the design and development stage, to the testing of one or more prototypes, right through to final manufacture and implementation, and work to produce high quality goods efficiently in the most cost effective methods and are conscious of the environment and its protection.

Major Responsibility and Authority 主要职责：

1. Developing electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials;

2. Developing test specification, test system, test instrument and fixtures;

3. Testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes;

4. Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods;

5. Working with others to ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to finished result;

6. Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products;

7. Responsible for design deliverable and prototype build for assigned projects;

8. Hand over the assigned projects to mass production;

9. Directing and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements;

10. Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments;

11. Solving the electrical design issue and DFM (design for manufacture) issue following prototype test results;

12. Upgrade existing designs of products to improve efficiency and performance;

13. Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers;

14. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards;

15. Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints;

16. Keeping accurate and detailed records of mechanical design changes;

17. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment;

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 知识、技巧与能力要求：

1. 8+ years working experience of electrical design and testing, electronics troubleshooting;

2. Expertise in digital, power, analog circuits, microcontroller assembly code, circuit prototyping, and PCB layout and assembly;

3. Capable of analyzing and designing consumer electronics circuits optimized for cost and power efficiency;

4. Extensive experience personally creating new designs and seeing them through to mass production;

5. Experience working in a multi-lingual work experience;

6. Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin;

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and suite of Microsoft business tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;

8. Outstanding learning ability and logical thinking as an analytical and creative thinkers;

9. Contribute as a team member working with engineers from various disciplines;

10. Honesty, integrity, details, innovation and strong sense of responsibility;

11. HVAC experience will be a plus;

12. Familiar with the code of UL, CE will be a plus.
    

Qualifications, Education and Work Experience 任职资格：

1. Bachelor degree or beyond in Electrical related field;

2. CET 4, fluent English in written and oral.
