职位描述

1.Job Description:

Responsible for scoping, developing and executing all coffee events and major brand events as well as event strategy and to coordinate and attune the content/format of all events with initiative, drive, and communicate with Torch Pu’er 负责公司所有咖啡事件及重大品牌事件的开发与执行,以及事件策略,协调和协调所有活动的内容/格式,以主动与普洱沟通.

2.Hiring Requirement

Bachelor degree or above 大学本科或以上

这时候,有人提议做一个咖啡品牌,想要通过咖啡帮助更多需要帮助的人,想要去不同的地方,寻找不同的机遇,但是给品牌命名是件非常难的事,品牌的名字需要涵盖你是做什么的,你的理念等等。然后他们抬头看到了自由***像和她高高举起的火炬,这不就是他们想要的吗,火炬就是一个非常完美的名字,它涵盖了他们想要通过咖啡做到的一切理念:去不同的地方寻找新机遇,并带给别人新的机会这些概念,跟自由***像所传达的含义不谋而合, 所以自然而然地他们就将品牌的名字命名为“TORCH”, 在英语中它的意思就是“火炬” ,这也是炬点咖啡的初衷- 去影响穷苦人。

When the founders of Torch were looking to start the company, they were on a road trip traveling in New York City. They are a group of friends and were excited to start this coffee brand but its so hard to name a new company cause you need a name that captures who you are and what you’re doing.

So, They are driving through New York City and visited the Statue of Liberty. On this road trip they had people from all over the world and were sitting there looking at the statue of liberty and looking at the torch that the statue of liberty holds.

They thought that really captures a lot of what we want to do with coffee and captures the idea of going to different places and having new opportunities, bringing opportunities to people and really this kind of idea that the statue of liberty represents - send us your broken, send us your poor kind of mentality. So that’s really the heart of torch coffee -to have the impact on the poor.











炬点咖啡的目标 Torch’s Goal

Torch Coffee really wants to help coffee people, and the way we do this need a two pronged approach. Have education to improve quality and have market linkages.

We have to increase quality, technical training, and education of those coffee farmers. In addition to increasing quality, we can increase prices, we increase prices those farmers can have a better quality of life. By quality of life, we mean access to health care and education and really break the cycle of poverty.

The other part of our company is the market linkages. We have a great roastory in Yunnan, that takes this high quality coffee that we help farmers produce, and get it in the hands of customers and they know that when they’re drinking that cup of coffee it’s going to a company that is working hard, passionately to help farmers. Our mentality was that if you’re going to do development work, go to where there’s the most need and the least help available, so that’s why we’re based in Asia.

炬点咖啡想去帮助咖啡人,帮助他们的办法分为两种,用教育去提高质量和建立市场连接。
