Description

Currently we are looking for a Lead Accountant based in the Shenzhen office who will report directly to the Accounting Manager (Shenzhen). The candidate will be responsible for complying with local and US GAAP Reporting and Accounting standards, as well as adhering to group

reporting and internal controls policies and procedures. The candidate will work in a global corporation within a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the day to day operations, including GL posting, Fixed Asset accounting, inter-co accounting
• Month, quarter end closure, including Accrued and Prepaid posting, P&L analysis and reconciliations
• Maintain accounting records to ensure compliance with requirements under statutory rules, accounting standards, corporate policies and procedures
• Manage cash flow
• Responsible for fixed assets management, including depreciation and monthly FA reconciliation between US GAAP & Chinese GAAP
• Responsible for tax invoice issuance for domestic customers, VAT system maintenance of input & output VAT
• Responsible for tax declaration (e.g. VAT, VAT Subsidy, Stamp Duty, Business Tax, CIT, etc.)
• Responsible for TP calculations for all CN entities
• Participate in annual financial audit & tax audit as well as special audits & group transferring price reports stipulated by the government
• Assist in annual business and other special inspections by the government
• Submit all required data to Statistics Bureau
• Manage all forms of government reporting work with various agencies, including Industrial & Commercial Bureau, State Tax Bureau, Local Tax Bureau, Shenzhen Software Park, Shenzhen Software Industry Association, Nanshan District municipal, State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Economy Trade & Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, etc

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in accounting or taxation
• Good level knowledge and experience in Local Taxation & Accounting regulations in China (including Transfer Pricing frameworks)
• Knowledge of SAP and US GAAP is preferred
• Working experience in international company is preferred
• Knowledge of Payroll, labor insurance, housing fund, personal income tax is an advantage
• Excellent computer skills, Proficiency in MS office application, with advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both in Mandarin and English (CET 6 or above)
• With team Spirit and high sense of responsibility, being able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Well-organized, highly- accurate, self-motivated
• Willingness to work hard and occasionally stay overtime
