Job Description

1. [20%] Solution Development (70% for NEV domain and 30% for Chassis/ADAS domain):

- Lead, propose and specify tailored ETAS test and validation solutions that improve the customer’s ECU development processes.

2. [10%] Business Development (70% for NEV domain and 30% for Chassis/ADAS domain):

- Support the pre-sales cycle and overall account strategy in close coordination with the account manager(s) through presentations, demonstrations, managing customer evaluation projects etc.

- Drive the growth of ETAS business through the identification of customer needs, proper positioning of ETAS solutions, and demonstrating a good understanding of the commercial side of each opportunity. - Represent ETAS at industry events.

3. [10%] Customer Management:

- Maintain strong relationships with key customer advocates and facilitate communication between customer locations and associated ETAS regions.

- Lead and manage technical interaction with customers – including providing technical presentations, managing critical customer issues and tracking open/closed action items.

4. [60%] Project Management and Execution:

- Manage project quotation, execution, delivery and invoicing according to defined ETAS processes and in close cooperation with other ETAS groups World Wide - including sales, finance and product development.

- Deliver post-sales tool/solutions deployment services and training when needed.

Qualifications

1. Working experience:

· At least 3 years ECU development or test experience, in either NEV (MCU/BMS/VCU…), Chassis (ESP/EPB/EPS…), or ADAS (Radar, Camera, Ultrasonic…) etc.

· 2 years customer communication / business acquisition support experience.

· 2 years project management experience.

2. Education:

· Master degree, major in Electrical Engineering, computer science or automotive engineering.

3. Technical Skills / Abilities:

· Experience with VCU/MCU/BMS or ESP/EPB/EPS, ADAS; know the principle, operation and setup of system.

· Understanding about control strategies and development processes in the automotive control area.

· Be able to create new application solution for the HIL test in new domain, according to customer’s requirements.

· Simulation modeling knowhow – e.g. Battery model/Motor model or other commercial software like Vires, Vedyna, CarSIM, CarMaker, Pre-Scan, etc.

· Proficient in data measurement tools, such as INCA, or similar.

4. Soft Skills:

· Native in Chinese (mandarin), fluent in English language.

· Rich project management experience.

· Good analytic and problem solving skills.

· Convincing customer communication skill.

· Good Business profile (or potential).

· Capability to integrate and work in a multinational team.

· Willingness to travel frequently within China.

· Willingness to communicate with customer to promote ETAS solution.
