ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, in the area of:

o Manage Finance team for AFAB Ziyang and Treat Chengdu

o Build and develop a competent Finance team to support high growth in APAC region

o Responsible for timely, consistent and accurate monthly local GAAP and US GAAP for group reporting

o Lead and co-ordinate the monthly close process

o Responsible for OPEX and Balance Sheet review & comments

o Prepare monthly Financial Reporting Package for submission to US

o Review monthly balance sheet schedules

o Provide business partnering support to AFAB/Treat GM in terms of monitoring of business results, managing and controlling OPEX budget execution, support decision making

o Support for budgeting and rolling forecasts for AFAB Ziyang/Treat Chengdu

o Responsible for working capital management including AR collection and payment processing and controls

o Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with legal and Corporate guidelines/policies, including compliance

o Review, implement and maintain an effective and robust internal controls system in compliance to SOX requirements, and ensure adherence to approval processes

o Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for business needs

o Manage internal and external audit requirements, as well as ensure compliance to tax laws in respective tax jurisdictions within AFAB/Treat

o Manage local statutory reporting, and tax reporting, including VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax and tax filing

o Implement new finance ERP system

o Ad hoc financial projects

Additional Responsibilities:

· This position will report directly to the APAC Plant Controller.

· Need to travel to Chengdu treat from time to time

· Other duties may be assigned

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant

· At least 10 years relevant experience with 5 years in managerial/supervisory role

· Working experience in a multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures

· Experience in leading a team, and a good team player

· Experience in costing is a plus

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to give strong business partnering support

· Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

· Deadline-conscious with “can do” spirit to ensure timely reporting

· Have a positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods

· Agile, results oriented, customer focused

· Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

Regular business operating hours, and may have to work additional hours to meet with international constituents. May require travel to Costa Rica, Mexico and other international locations as necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Language: English and Chinese (written and spoken)

· Strong systems skills with prior experience of Finance ERP system. Working knowledge of SAP is a plus

· Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
