The constant changing maritime industry have developed into a new era, especially the role of financial institution. Tradition capital ship financing offered by European Banks and private equities from USA are retrieving from the industry. Chinese leasing companies (usually associated or subsidiaries of major banks) are actively position themselves to fill in the gap.

We are looking for a motivated individual to take our services/products to the next level. The Key Account Manager for financial institutions will take up the task to position DNV GL as the preferred industry partner in shipping to the leasing companies/financial institutions. S/he will report into the Business Development Organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and identify service offering to financial institutions
• Develop the understanding and competence of employees related to financial institutions
• Utilise the internal KAM network to deliver results
• Develop relations with respective financial institutions in China
• Develop a differentiation strategy

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience and knowledge related to financial institutions
• Strong understanding of shipping company operation
• Strong knowledge of ship financing (operating leases, finance leases, and other financing structures)
• Strong knowledge of lease contracts and terms
• Strong interest and curiosity to use digitalisation to solve business problems.
• Strong critical thinking skills and proactive attitude.
