职位描述
Responsibilities
· Improve supplier quality performance for assigned suppliers via Quality Plan Implementation.
· Assure supplier compliance to Viavi requirements through supplier monitoring process.
· Develop positive relationships and work closely with Viavi Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers and customer integrators understanding and compliance with quality specifications.
· Interface with Viavi customer integrators, Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements that minimize Costs of Quality.
· Assure Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at assigned suppliers in compliance with Viavi processes.
· Demonstrated ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a strategy to ensure quality compliance.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or non-technical degree with 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 10 years of manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance experience), Key Qualification.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering design, quality assurance or regulatory assurance.Prior Optical experience preferred.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet development and analysis.
4. Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross functionally and globally).
