职位描述
PURPOSE
· To manage the Airfreight Team and Business of Beijing
· To meet or exceed company objectives in areas of quality, productivity, and efficiency to maximize company benefits while maintaining customer satisfaction
· To achieve or exceed budget requirements of the Airfreight Department.
OBJECTIVES
· Resolving daily operations and achieve customers satisfaction together with the airfreight team of BJS
· Contract negotiation with subcontractors to achieve best possible rates for local services like trucking customs clearance and airfreight
· Coordinate with Tender Center and NCN manager to achieve best possible result
· Coordinate the spot pricing together with local sales team as well as gateway team
· Administer and monitor receivable and profit share control
· Visit customer and suppliers on regular basis to build relationship and trust
· To apply innovative ideas in areas of assignment, both in operational methodology as well as in staff training to achieve team competence in support of employee career development along with customer satisfaction
· To develop and implement of internal business processes in response to support of new accounts, industry groups or business challenges to meet internal and external requirement
· Enforce and execute company rules and regulations based on personal, professional judgment, knowledge that will reciprocally benefit all parties
· Create team competency to represent self or company in personal and professional manner as a good role model to clients and colleagues
· Actively create and promote friendly climate and good morale and cooperation to all
· Establish and maintain good relationship with key accounts and global accounts
· Manage existing businesses and development of new businesses
· Ensure established margins and budgetary target are met
· Assigns specific duties to supervisors or staffs as required
· Ensure your team of the airfreight is well trained and educated to achieve customer satisfaction
· Assist staffs in airfreight department with any questions or situations that arise with shipments, customers request
· Ensure continuous improvement processes to increase efficiencies, reduces waste and improve processes and performance to customers
· Developing, implementing, maintaining and auditing quality assurance systems and activities to meet customer requirements and specification.
· Resolve, Report, Record complaints in professional manner
· Must always trust and treat team with respect, value them as your last resource
· Administrative, creative duties as assigned by management
· Report financial result (Airfreight), loss files, deferrals to management.
· To follow the instructions management
· Is responsible for Month End Closing of the Airfreight and follows closing guidelines.
· Cost Management and Credit Control
· Operational Efficiency
· Knows and adheres to the Agility Airfreight Guidelines.
· Coordinating the overseas offices / customs broker/ transporters/ carriers to ensure all work is carried out to pre-set service levels and procedures as well as reviewing these regular to seek improvements
· Entertaining / visiting clients, where applicable, which may involve unsociable hours and travel outside office.
· Ensuring timely processing of invoicing/ costs in line with internal financial controlling regulations
· Ensuring that strict credit control guidelines are adhered to by all staff of the export airfreight team and monitoring the delayed invoicing report and taking action.
· Ensuring that all QSHE directives are implemented
Performing any other duties agreed with NCN Air Freight manager when and where necessary
Education, Experience, Certification and Training requirements
- Preferably University Degree
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in air freight
- Experience in export mandatory, import beneficial
