Major Responsibilities:

• Monitor supplier quality performance and establish specific short / long term supplier quality goals

• Maintains a traceable monitoring system to ensure continuous improvement of the field relevant quality for delivered SPP products. Defines and conducts the continuous improvement process for products and processes. Drive root cause analysis and solution execution for supplier quality issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction

• Conduct supplier audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the supplier’s Quality Management System and their ability to consistently supply products as per product specifications and customer requirements.

• Conduct / participate in cross-functional team exercises that drive quality into products.

• Analyse data and prepare reports related to the department’s KPIs

• Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base

• Conduct the application test for all NPD product before mass production

Requirements:

1. Technical education (engineering grade electronics/electric education)

2. Experience in process management principles

3. Experience in QM principles and tools

4. Ideally experience in Six Sigma project management principles (Green belt education)

5. International process and project experience

6. At least 3 years experience in lighting manufacturing experience

7. Demonstrated experience in reducing reject rates and improving long-term Supplier performance

8. Experience working with International Suppliers (ie. Asia, Europe)

9. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desirable

10. Strong communication and leadership skills

11. Commercial awareness and strong customer focus

12. Strong problem solving and analytical skills

13. Good knowledge of SAP

14. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Continuous Improvement practices

15. Proficient in using MS Office
