Qualification and Experience required:

• degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (5 years course);
• fluent in English writing, reading, speaking and comprehension;
• experience of minimum 3 years in the specific railway field in at least one of the follow:
• Rolling stock design, commissioning, or production and familiar with related Independent Safety Assessment against applicable standards;
• Control Command and Signalling Independent Safety Assessment (EN5012x);
• RAMS analysis or consultancy in Rolling Stock field with related Independent Safety Assessment (EN50126).
• Availability to travels mainly in China, but not only.

Responsibilities:

1. Startup phase
2. Technical and management tasks (50% of total time)
3. i.Technical documental analysis and Assessment or Inspection Report production as third party under the supervision of RINA lead assessor.
4. ii.Test Witnessing and inspections on railways products together with RINA Technical Supervisor or technical assessor and experts.
5. Commercial tasks (50% of total time)
6. i.Support the Business Development Manager by visiting Chinese potential Customers and providing technical support to local tenders.
7. ii.Help the Business Development Manager in the production of economic proposal for Chinese Customers.

10. Technical and management tasks (50% of total time)
11. i.Management of assessment projects in China autonomously.
12. ii.Performance of technical assessment in specific field (defined according to candidate’s technical skill).
13. iii.Tests witnessing and vehicle inspections as autonomous technical expert.
14. Commercial tasks (50% of total time)
15. i.Carry on autonomously commercial activities in order to develop RINA Railways Department in China.
16. ii.Identification of commercial opportunities for RINA in China related to the railway market.
17. iii.Production of technical-economic proposal autonomously for the Chinese market.
